Every voice-room and live-streaming app needs a constant stream of new gifts: festival packs, VIP exclusives, trending memes, regional favourites. This tutorial shows how to produce a production-ready .svga gift with sound in about ten minutes using SVGA Maker - no After Effects, no designer queue, and no SVGA converter plug-ins. It is the exact process we use at AppLooma LLC when we ship catalogs for the platforms we build.
Before you start: what a good gift looks like
Gifts are watched hundreds of times by the same users, so premium ones follow a simple structure: an entrance (0-1 s), a hero moment where the subject is fully visible (1-4 s), a climax burst (particles, light, coins) and a graceful ending frame that loops back to the start. Keep the subject centred, the background dark or transparent so the effect floats over the live video, and the sound design peaking at the climax. Full-screen gifts are 9:16, 5 or 10 seconds.
Step 1 - Open Gift Maker
Create a free account, open the Studio and choose Gift Maker in the sidebar. You will see three steps on the page: your idea, the video script, and generate.
Step 2 - Describe the gift in any language
Type one or two lines in English, Bangla, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish - whatever you think in. Examples that work well:
- "A golden dragon rising through clouds with coins raining, luxury casino style."
- "Arabian white horse with gold bars on its back walking on golden coins, desert palace behind."
- "A cute pink pig holding a heart balloon, floating up with sparkles, birthday mood."
Optional: drop a reference photo (the AI keeps its subject, colours and style) or a reference video - the AI studies its idea and motion and creates a brand-new gift inspired by it, without reusing any frame.
Step 3 - Let the Script Generator write the scene
Click Script Generator. A Gemini-powered writer turns your hint into a cinematic prompt with the entrance-hero-climax timing built in, plus a matching background-music brief. Read it like a director: change the colour palette, add "the name banner area stays clear at the top", remove anything you do not want. Choose 5 s (✦110) for standard gifts or 10 s (✦210) for luxury full-screen effects, then press "Use this script".
Step 4 - Generate
Press Confirm & Generate. The studio sends the script to the best available engine - Google's Gemini Omni first, then Veo 3.1, with BytePlus Seedance and Alibaba Wan as fallbacks - renders an HD 9:16 video with native sound design, and converts it to SVGA 2.0 automatically. It takes one to three minutes. If a generation fails you are not charged, and the studio retries on another engine by itself.
Step 5 - Preview like your users will see it
The result plays inside the page through the same SVGAPlayer library your app uses, with sound. Check three things: the loop point (does the last frame return cleanly to the first?), legibility on a phone (is the subject big enough at 384 px wide?), and the audio peak (does it land on the climax?). If something is off, edit the script and regenerate - most teams get the gift they want in one or two tries.
Step 6 - Size settings that keep rooms fast
Under the generate button you choose the SVGA width and the size mode. For catalog gifts use 384 px, Balanced - typically 0.5-1.5 MB. For hero VIP gifts use 512 px or original, Best Quality. For entrance effects that must load instantly use Small. Our encoder stores opaque frames as compact JPEG, which is why files land up to 90% smaller than PNG-sequence converters. Aim under 2 MB so gifts open instantly on 3G/4G.
Step 7 - Download and ship
Download the .svga and the MP4 (useful for marketing and previews). Upload the SVGA to your gift admin panel, set the tier price and a static thumbnail - our free Thumbnail tool exports a WebP/PNG cover from any SVGA in one click. Vault members also keep every generated file in My Library with a retention period they choose, so the team can re-download later.
Seasonal catalogs in an afternoon
Plan a pack of 20-30 gifts per festival: write the hints in a spreadsheet, generate them in a session, review the previews, and ship. A Ramadan pack (crescent lanterns, dates and coffee, mosque-skyline fireworks), a Lunar New Year pack (red envelopes, dragon dance, firecrackers) or a Valentine's pack (rose rain, love letters, couple swings) costs about $25-$60 in credits instead of $3,000-$10,000 through an agency - and you own everything you generate.
Common mistakes
- Overloaded prompts - one subject, one action, one climax. Two dragons and a car become mush.
- Bright full-frame backgrounds - gifts should float; ask for a dark, clean backdrop.
- Ignoring the loop - always end "on a frame that returns to the start".
- Shipping without a device test - preview on a low-end Android at least once per pack.

Prompt recipes that consistently work
- Luxury vehicle: "A black Rolls-Royce with gold trim glides in from the left, doors open with light beams, a rain of gold coins bursts at the climax, dark background, cinematic, seamless loop."
- Cute mascot: "A chubby golden pig with a red bow bounces in, blows a kiss heart that grows and pops into confetti, soft pastel glow, dark backdrop, loop-ready."
- Festival: "Three brass Ramadan lanterns descend and light up one by one, crescent moon rises behind, gentle sparkle rain, deep navy background, elegant and calm."
- Regional icon: "A royal Bengal tiger leaps through a golden ring of fire, roars at the camera, embers burst outward, black background, powerful sound design."
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own logo or mascot? Yes - upload it as a reference image; the generator keeps the subject, colours and style and animates it.
What resolution do I get? Gifts render at 720p vertical (720×1280) and are converted to SVGA at the width you choose. The MP4 is also downloadable for social media previews.
Is the sound royalty-free? Yes. Music and sound effects are generated for your gift; you own the output and can use it commercially.
How many gifts can I make per hour? Generation takes one to three minutes; teams comfortably produce 20-30 gifts in an afternoon session.

- Structure every gift as entrance, hero moment, climax and loop; the Script Generator writes this timing for you.
- One subject, one action, dark clean backdrop, sound that peaks at the climax.
- Use 384 px Balanced for catalog gifts and keep files under 2 MB; preview once on a low-end Android.
- A festival pack of 20-30 gifts costs $25-$60 in credits and one afternoon - and you own every file you generate.
